The Start Of The Story:' Moments Of the Girl Named Selena'

In the year 1947, 2 years after the most bloody and heartless war ended in Singapore. A young little girl named Selena was borned. Its was a joy to the new couple. The Lim's couple was rich and owned many ships at that time. Everyone aorund the neighbourhood was so jealous of their family. But tragic appeared as soon as happiness started. After the 1 month anniversay of the baby, the husband passed away, while he was on his ship. News spread so fast that, it goes into the ears of Madam Lim. She cried and cried. The sudden news make her so lost and fustrasted. She started scoding her daugther a jink. Was it the girl fault? Not at all. Its was what people at that time thinks of. In addition, the wife had to carry with her lots of ugly burden. Her husband assets were all left to her. Ugly and hopeless people started coming over to seduce and ever trying to cheat Madam Lim. With a kind heart, Madam Lim believed in what most people commonly used excuse:" I need money to cure my family". Times flew passed fast, the assets of Lim's family also started to deplete. Selena also grew to be a pretty and kind hearted girl. The mother still ill treat Selena, her only daugther at that time. Selena was brave and determined. She has no new year clothes to wear, not much freedom. Her life was a jailed. After 5years, Madam Lim decided to remarried a guy who used to work in the ship company, named Leow. Leow was Lim's good buddy. As usual, rumours about Leow and Madam Lim started to spread aorund the estate. People was saying:" Leow had been in love with Madam Lim since long ago." Regardless of the hurtful words, they continued with their marriage. Marriage was not a successful happy ending. Economic went down the slope so badly. In days, Madam Lim started to lose everything she had. They suffered somehow. Without much choices, Selena was asked to work as a shit collector. It was smelly and a disgusting job, that no one ever wanted to work. But Selena put up her determination to carried this incredible task. When ever in the night, when all the children were sleeping, she had to pull her legs together to all the houses to collect the disgusting shit. Some neighbour are good, some are mean. Good neighbours gave her chocolate, that seem to be a millions thousand years of gold. She treasured it so well. Not long, Madam Lim gave birth to a son, named John. John is only 7years younger than Selena. Selena took good care of him. Whenever she recieved a chocolate, she would passed it to John to enjoy it. While she starred greedily at it. Sometimes, she would even bared the consequences that John had produces. Everyone thought Selena was happy. But she was not at all. She suffered. She cried in her bed. She starred at the sea. "Where are you Daddy?" is what she always do at the sea side. Who knows her sorrow? No one!.........
